The Commemorative Evacuation Walk and first pitch will be Sunday the14th. The sign-up sheet is at the store for the annual softball

A sealers meeting will take place Thursday the 18th in the Tribal Council Chambers.


Bering Sea Campus-

Youth Leadership Camp: Monday-22nd to Friday-26th from 9a-5p. For ages 12-21. Students participating in the camp will have the

opportunity to support the Seabird Camp in the afternoons. Expand on your leadership skills, connect with your peers, think about the

future for both you and the community.

Youth Camp Out: ages 5 to 9 can participate in a day camp, 10/up eligible for camp out participation Saturday-27th, starts at noon at the

campus. Day camp participants drop off at 8:30p at the campus. There will be outdoor education, games, adventures and a bonfire at

Lake Hill. Keep an eye out for permission slips coming soon. Back to campus at noon on Sunday-28th.

Weekly Summer Schedule: 

Tuesdays from 1p-2p and Thursdays from 1p-3p Gardening at the E-Shop w/Healing and Wellness and BSC Staff.

Tuesdays Outdoor and Science Education Programming w/Destiny, includes photography and video elements from 2p-5p.

Fridays Open Campus BSC interns will lead revolving activities from 1p-5p.

Saturdays Peak-a-Week. Join Destiny and additional chaperones to complete weekly hikes (weather permitting) at noon ages 12/up.


There will be an Aleut shareholder information meeting on Sunday, July 26th in the rec-hall to hear updates from Aleut leadership and

ask questions. The Shareholder Department will be here to assist with important shareholder documents such as stock wills, gifting and

more. Stay tuned for meeting times and keep an eye on their website calendar for updates.


The school has 3 school board seats open. Deadline is Friday, August 7th. You can pick up a form at the school.

The fur seal rookeries and haulouts are closed to human access until Thursday, October 15th. Any questions regarding closures, locations

or to obtain a viewing blind permit, stop by the ECO Office or call 907-615-5306.

The Elders Lunch Program is provided by the Aleut Comm of SNP Healing & Wellness Dept for Elders/Seniors ages 55/older. M-F

from 12p-2p at the café. To help keep that spirit of fellowship and community connection strong, Elders lunch is eat-in only. Delivery

service is limited to elders who are physically unable to attend or those who are sick and in need of a meal. Lunch will no longer be

delivered to those who can dine in person. For more information on delivery, call Katia 615-5336.

SNP Post Office is seeking Postmaster Relief employee. The position may lead to the opportunity to apply for the Postmaster later in

CBSFA has 2 openings: 

Harbor Security Attendant, 4 positions. It is temporary, seasonal. Tentative start date is Monday the 15th and end date is Saturday, 

September 5th. Responsibilities: provide on-site security coverage. Communicate appropriately and effectively with all users of the

small boat harbor. Monitor vessels and traffic within the area. Enforce rules. Distribute life jackets to users 18/under. Maintain a clean

and safe environment within the area. Document issues and safety hazards and report them to the Shore Support Supervisor. This all 

takes places at the small boat harbor. Work under the supervision of the Shore Support Supervisor. Must have knowledge of vessel

mooring and water safety guidelines. Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions. Wage: $23/hour. Deadline: Thursday the

11th at 5p.


Shore Support Laborers, 2 positions. It is temporary, seasonal, 8 - 10 hours per day, 5 - 6 days a week. Tentative start/end date:

mid-June to late-August. Responsibilities: prepare and maintain a safe job site. Assist in local halibut fishery tendering operations -

mainly icing, storing and backloading halibut. Perform necessary logistical support for the local fleet which includes providing bait, ice

and salt. Operate various equipment necessary to carry out support operations, which include but not limited to forklifts and ice

machines. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Wage: $26/hour. Deadline: Friday the 12th at 5p.

Qualifications for all: must have knowledge of and follow workplace safety requirements. Must be honest, trustworthy and dependable.

Must have ability to work with others and follow directions of Supervisor. For an application, a complete job description or for more

City has an opening: Grants Accounting Specialist. This is a full-time position. Requirements: must be at least 18, have a high school
