There will be a special Tribal Council meeting at 10am this morning (16th) in the
council chambers. All Tribal members are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

A discussion session regarding public safety will take place Wednesday (18th) at 6pm in the
city council chambers. Everyone is invited to attend.

Reminder: Tribal will hold 2 different types of meetings this year. There will be a
first ever Tribal Membership/Tribal Council meeting only. Where tribal members will have the opportunity to meet with the Council to ask questions, raise concerns and provide suggestions, ideas and feedback.

Due to ongoing challenges and uncertainty with jet fuel services and airlines being fully booked, there is a possibility all Tribal Council members and Gov’t staff won’t make it to the island for the Saturday 28th meeting. To provide a little extra cushion, it is being moved to Saturday, March 7th.
Elections for the 2 Tribal seats will take place in the Tribal Chambers on Saturday. March 7th. Polls will be open from 8am – 2pm. Transportation will be provided to the election polls for the elders. Call in advance 615-5300 if you need a ride.
The regular Annual Meeting where Tribal staff present updates and reports to the tribal membership will still be held Saturday, April 18th. This meeting will provide an opportunity for membership to engage in open communication and discuss ideas, concerns and questions with the Tribal Govt departments.
